Forever on the Hips

This segment of Bhakti Yin yoga is centered around the hips and twists. We will begin lying in the prone position with the full yogic breath, and then move into some gentle sahaja (freedom) style stretching and twisting. We will explore a variety of hip stretches and twists throughout the practice.This class introduces the idea of the hips as emotional centers in the body which often release deep emotions during hip stretches. We close our practice with a beautiful chant.
