There are many movements in yoga that move the body in extreme and non-sustainable ways. Those poses and sequences are fun, but they aren’t the type of things we should be doing every day. If you truly want to have a daily practice, it should consist of mostly functional poses; moving the body in the ways it was designed to move. This is a level 3 class only because of the stamina and strength that we use, not because of any advanced poses. There will never be any advanced poses in a functional practice because those two ideas oppose each other.
