Vinyasa Flow Yoga is one of the most popular styles of yoga. It is a flowing and energizing practice which links body movement to the breath. When in almost constant movement, it is crucial to stabilize the physical body to the earth to avoid injury.
I purposely taught this class as a slow-paced, alignment based, breath-by-breath experience to give the student precise instruction on creating a safe and grounded foundation, engaged physical body, and conscious flowing breath to recognize the body as a vessel that opens to and expands the life-force within it. The invitation is to place one’s self in this moment, this breath, and this body.
Mindfully, breathing consciously, creating space and connection, strong and centered, yet soft and fluid, we stabilize the Self in Awareness, to recognize, honor and celebrate the gift of embodiment.
