    Meditation for Memory Loss

This meditation brings a total mental balance to the individual psyche, while reprogramming the brain where habitual patterning has formed. If you are starting to feel forgetful, not sleeping well, depressed or low energy this Meditation works on all of that, and is just right for you! Practicing this meditation is both a science and an art. It is an art in the way that it molds the consciousness and in the refinement of the sensation and insight it produces. It is a science in the tested certainty of the results each technique produces. Meditations have coded actions to their reactions in the psyche. This meditation must be practiced with precision because it is so effective and exact otherwise it will not have the desired effects. Research conducted by the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) has proven that practicing this meditation for 12 minutes a day for a significant amount of time can reverse memory loss, improve energy, improve sleep quality, decrease stress, decrease depression and decreases the aging of cells aging in the brain. P) To find out more info on the research conducted, materials for the meditation, and more, visit: www.alzheimersprevention.org P) How To Do: This meditation is practiced by sitting in a comfortable, cross-legged position with the hands resting on the knees. You may also sit in a chair with the hands resting on the knees. The mantra used for this meditation is “Sa” (beginning, the totality of everything, infinity), “Ta” (life, existence created from infinity), “Na” (death, change, transformation) and, “Ma” (rebirth, the experience of joy of the infinite). Chanting this mantra re-orients the mind and opens it up to make transformational change. It is good for everyone at any age. It is able to access the part of the brain where habits are created. Each repetition of the entire mantra takes 3-4 seconds. This is the cycle of creation. From the infinite comes life and individual existence. From life comes death or change. From death comes the rebirth of consciousness to the joy of the infinite through which compassion leads back to life. This meditation is practiced by using different mudras combined with each part of the mantra and a visualization. Begin by chanting “Sa” while touching the first finger and thumb together, next chant “Ta” and touch the second, middle finger and thumb, thirdly chant “Na” while touching the third, ring finger and thumb together and lastly chant “Ma” while touching the fourth, pinkie finger with the thumb. On each of the four sections of the mantra, visualize the sound current coming in through your crown chakra, making an “L” shape at your third eye and leaving out your third eye point. P) The mantra will be chanted out loud, then whisper, then quiet (but continue repeating the mantra in your mind while moving the fingers), then back to whispering, an ending with out loud again. P) Reminder: Kundalini Meditations include Tuning IN & Tuning OUT / To Tune In Chant: “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo” 3 x / To Tune Out Chant: “May the long time Sun shine upon you, All Love surround you, and the pure Light within you, Guide your way on…” Ending with the bij mantra of: ”SAT NAM”
