We present this therapeutic class using a portion of the Joint Freeing Series as a key practice in coping with, and healing through, illness and injury. Yoga can help us heal on a physical level using the postures and breathing exercises, which can increase strength, stamina, and range of motion. Psychologically, we can develop the capacity for mental presence and freedom from anxiety. Spiritually, we can cultivate a deeper connection to the essential Self. Yoga teaches us how to tap into an environment of healing, and how to move skillfully through the challenges life presents.
