It all started here… Power Yoga was the first style of yoga that found its way to and this 7-Day Power Yoga Workshop is a great way to experience much of what the practice is all about. Power Yoga is a powerful, energetic form of yoga that moves fluidly from one pose to the next while connecting breath to movement. It consists of both standing and sitting sequences and incorporates physical teachings of strength, flexibility, balance, and cardio. Connecting the breath to each movement requires mental stamina as it strikes a balance between the originating values of yoga found in India and the more modern American demands for physical exercise. Though Power Yoga classes can vary widely from teacher to teacher, they will appeal to people looking for a physical and mental challenge with a minimal amount of chanting and meditation with their yoga. Prepare to work hard and work up a sweat.

The 7-Day Power Yoga Workshop includes the following:

  • Seven (7) 60-minute Power Yoga classes (1 per day)
  • Three (3) supplemental muscle-focused classes (taken as per program)
  • Two (2) Meditation Classes (taken as per program)
