Pre/Post Natal

Prenatal Yoga is designed of series of asanas and breathing techniques to restore balance and vitality while deepening the awareness on pregnancy. It is designed to be gentle on your abdomen and back. This style avoids poses that require you to stretch your back muscles or abdominal muscles, such as backbends, the Camel pose, handstands and headstands. Concentration and relaxation techniques assist in preparing for and providing relief during labor and birth. Prenatal Yoga also helps relieve physical and emotional discomforts associated with pregnancy, including back pain, heartburn, constipation, swelling, and sleeplessness, depression, and anxiety.

Postnatal Yoga classes are a great way to support the body’s recovery after birth. In Postnatal Yoga classes, postures, breathing techniques, and meditation offer a practice that supports healing, relaxation, and toning. Mothers may practice with their babies closeby for an experience that incorporates yoga and bonding with the baby.

Rudy often describes himself as “obsessed” with yoga and it is clearly evident in his teaching. Utilizing his experiences both on and off the mat, he inspires students to challenge their perceived boundaries while respecting their limitations. As he guides students within the class, he carefully breaks down each movement, finding myopic muscle and energetic actions to achieve the most.
