This practice is intense, but in a very different way to a dynamic flow or a power class. The poses are restorative in nature but allow you to access your physical and subtle body on a much deeper level! You will be holding poses for up to five minutes at a time. The essence of this practice is to soften, surrender and let go of resistance in both the mind and the body. The mental challenge of this practice can often reveal a profound insight into our true nature. There are no alignment principles in this practice and very little use of muscular energy. This practice is a perfect compliment to a dynamic or power based class as it calms the energy, bringing a sense of grounding and connection.

Utilizing his experiences both on and off the mat, he inspires students to challenge their perceived boundaries while respecting their limitations. As he guides students within the class, he carefully breaks down each movement, finding myopic muscle and energetic actions to achieve the most.
