Britteny Howell received her yoga teacher certification in 2012 at Sonoma Ashram in the heart of the California wine country from Barefoot Works Studio. The training was one of the best experiences of her life, creating a deep desire to share what she’s learned about yoga with others. Britteny’s background and knowledge in skeletal anatomy greatly informs her teaching, which focuses on proper alignment, injury prevention, and pain management. When she’s not teaching Pilates or yoga, she’s finishing her PhD dissertation, teaching college anthropology classes, and working as a researcher in Anchorage, Alaska.
