Emma Cowpe has a background in dance and movement and started practicing yoga over ten years ago at her local Iyengar yoga studio in Birmingham. Emma’s classes are inspired by a variety of traditional and more modern styles of yoga; she encourages playfulness and non-attachment, particularly during dynamic practice and incorporates pranayama and working with the bandhas to find strength, focus and lightness. When not on the mat Emma works as a Speech and Language Therapist in Critical Care, and looks after her little boy.
