Kelly Arellano originally came to yoga because of a low back injury and was told ‘yoga may help.’ She began her practice in Chicago, and when she relocated to LA she discovered that she’d found her passion. She began to pursue her goal to become a yoga teacher. After searching many studios and teachers throughout the Los Angeles yoga community she found her teacher, Rudy Mettia. (He played Van Morrison during savasana and she took it as a sign.) Jules Mitchell has also been instrumental in her education of restorative yoga, which has taught her how to protect the back injury which brought her to yoga in the first place…and ultimately take better care of her mind and body.
